A Marketing Cloud associate participates in the design, configuration, enhancement, and maintenance of client applications associated with various platforms. Must be able to interface directly with customers to identify user requirements, assess available technologies, recommend solution options, assess design and objectives for the assigned project phases, and recommend strategies and tactics to achieve business needs.
Qualifications and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Perform hands-on solution design, prototyping, and proofs-of-concept, as required in support of current and new projects
- Work on all phases of a project: requirements capture, development, testing, production support, etc.
- Assist in estimating scope for development efforts
- Communicate with stakeholders regarding status
- Participate in business and technical meetings
- Provide timely status updates to project leadership
- Identify and mitigate risks in process and technology
- Support architectural and development guidelines and best practices
Director of Technology
We are looking for someone to lead a team of 5-20 internal and external engineers (UI, Data Engineering, Machine Learning and Back-end). Also, lead recruiting, hiring, on-boarding, staffing, and professional development for the engineering team (with support from Engine 2 Recruiting and HR teams). This candidate must be able to co-ordinate and manage external vendors providing technical services, including ensuring high quality and productive work product as well as set high standards in the software development, build and deployment processes on AWS infrastructure.
Qualifications and Experience
Required: Bachelor’s degree
- Required: 10+ years in the software development/engineering roles with a minimum of 3+ years of leading and managing engineering teams
- Experience with providing technical vision, driving strategy and successfully executing across proprietary and open source technologies
- Have a background in modern software development, familiar with current standards and cloud based, developer tools sets for CI/CD in delivering a comprehensive SDLC such as GitHub, GitOps, Jenkins, Docker
- Experience delivering large-scale secure, stable, scalable, and observable cloud based micro service based solutions
- In-depth, hands-on knowledge of Python
- Experience with distributed systems and back-end service development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to represent and advocate complex technical concepts
- Excellent ability to work collaboratively with distributed cross-functional teams
- Familiarity with machine learning techniques and natural language processing (e.g. featurization, n-gram analysis, supervised classification and unsupervised topic clustering, etc)
- Experience with building out cloud infrastructure or using AWS services (e.g. Sagemaker, Infra tools, etc)
